Office of the Public Relations (PR) at Primeasia University looks after the promotional activities of the events and programs that held in the campus on a regular basis. This office continuously supports all academic programs and students’ motivational activities on universities wide spectrum of reputation.
PR office uses all form of media and communications link to uphold, maintain and manage the image of the students and its graduates. It is also monitors publicity and image building activities of the institution to meet the expectation of the stake holders.
The role of PR is very diverse and tasks will depend on the type of responsibilities. Some responsibilities often involve:
Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies;
Communicating with colleagues and key spokespeople;
Liaisoning with, and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations;
Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
Collecting and analyzing media coverage;
Writing and editing in-house magazines, articles and annual reports;
Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, leaflets, promotional videos, and photography programs;
Devising and coordinating photo clippings;
Organizing events including press conferences and exhibitions;
Maintaining and updating information on the organization’s website;
Managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media;
Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities;
Conducting on other academic institutions;
Fostering community relations through events and involving community initiatives;
Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation of the institute.
