As a part of teaching methodology and in order to produce competent textile graduates for the textile sector of the country Primeasia University usually organizes training and visit programme for the student to different enterprises related to textiles. This gives opportunity to the students to gain knowledge about textiles from raw materials to finished fabrics and as well as the machines and processes used for production of textiles.

On 5/5/2005 (Thursday) Department of Textile Engineering organizes a visit programme to central Cotton Research, Training and Seed Multiplication farm, Sreepur, Gazipur for the 2 nd year 1 st semester
students to gain knowledge about cotton seed cultivation, ginning and marketing of cotton fibres in Bangladesh .
About 45 students participated in the visit programme. It was a full one day programme. They visited cotton field, ginning factory, testing laboratory and finally attend a question and
answer session with the scientists of the farm. Attached photographs show some of the activities of the programme.
